Description
These motors are induction or asynchronous type of motors. These are also a type of AC motors, where power is supplied to the rotor by means of electromagnetic induction. These motors are widely used in industrial drives, in general single phase and three phase induction motors because these are robust and have no brushes. Their speed can also be controlled with a variable frequency drive.
Motor Construction
Motor casing in cast iron, rotor & stator in electric silicon steel sheet, 99.9% pure copper wire, world’s finest pre- greased ball bearings, dynamically balanced rotor, fine external paint for corrosion resistance and fan cooled enclosed features make this motor suitable for different applications.
Installation
Upon installation, always prime the pump body first before start up. The pump must be installed with the motor shaft in the horizontal position.
These motors are used as a prime mover for operating other machines i.e. Golden Piston pumps, grain processing machinery, engineering machinery, wood cutters, marble cutters, mixers and many other applications, by using v-belt pulley or by direct coupling. These motors are used in 2 pole or 4 pole and I phase or Ill phase connections, according to the customer’s requirement.
